Terms and Conditions for Adults
1. Trial Lesson
-
-A 5-Lesson Package can only be purchased after completing a trial lesson with Madeline.
2. Lesson Package Validity
-
-Each 5-Lesson Package must be used within 4 months from the date of purchase.
-
-If the package expires, you may request a credit by contacting Madeline Music.
-
-Credits must be used within 1 month of being issued.
3. Communication
-
-Most communication will be via email. This may include lesson notes, reminders, practice recordings, and other resources.
-
-It is the student’s responsibility to ensure they have access to and regularly check their email.
Terms and Conditions – Under 18s
1. Lesson Structure & Payment
-
-Under 18 classes run according to the standard school terms.
-
-Term fees must be paid before your first class.
-
-Lessons are available weekly or fortnightly.
2. Invoicing & Payments
-
-Invoices will be sent via email by Madeline or Phoebe.
-
-Payments are made by bank transfer.
3. Missed Lessons & Make-Up Policy
-
-If a lesson is missed, make-up lessons are offered during the first week of the school
-
holidays or during the term.
-
-Make-up lessons are available Monday to Wednesday, between 10:00am–12:00pm
-
over the school holidays .
-
-Bookings for make-up lessons are essential.
-
-Make-up lessons are not available during the summer holidays.
4. Holiday Options
-
-During school holidays, students may book:
-
-A one-off class with friends, or
-
-An additional lesson to prepare for an upcoming performance.
These must be arranged directly with Madeline or Phoebe.
5. Communication
-
-Most communication will be via email. This may include reminders, recordings,
-
lesson notes, and updates.
-
-Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring they can access these communications.
Terms and Conditions – All Students
1. Risk & Safety
-
-All students who attend in-person lessons do so at their own risk.
-
-You agree to release Madeline, Phoebe, and our studio location from all liability,
-
including but not limited to: falls, accidents, or difficulty locating the studio.
-
-We are not responsible for any misuse of your vocal cords outside of lessons. Students are encouraged to practice safely and follow teacher directions to maintain vocal
-
health.
2. Teacher Rights
-
-We reserve the right to terminate lessons at any time if deemed necessary by the
-
teacher.
-
-Reasons may include (but are not limited to): scheduling conflicts, suitability,
-
compatibility, or safety concerns.
-
-If lessons are terminated by us:
-
-You will receive a formal email notification, and
-
- A full refund will be provided if applicable.
